My May 2019 Forex Results – Slow But Still Positive

My May 2019 Forex results were very low. In fact it is by far the lowest of the year. But on the bright side it was still a positive month. The issue is the trades I am in are taking a very long time to complete. They are already past extreme levels without the retracement happening. Hopefully in June the retracements happen and that will be a very nice month.

You can see from the above pictures for my May 2019 Forex results that I traded the smallest amount of closed positions at only 0.16 for all of 2019. That is because I am waiting on the retracements to happen with the trades.

For some reason the MyFxBook (which is the 3rd party verification service I use for Forex) is not counting the deposit from the rollover rate in the final tally. So even though I only made $56 in trades for May I still made an extra $21.79 for holding Forex pairs that were positive. That is why I try to only trade Forex pairs that provide a positive rollover rate.

Since the trades can take weeks or even months to complete it is important to me to have the rollover rates be positive so I at least get a little money put back into my account while I wait for the trade to complete.

The total is correct but they aren’t including the rollover rate deposits in their monthly tally. That is something I noticed last month.

Moving Forward

The primary setups I am using now are the 61B, 127-161, and the 127 Long setup. I’ve written about the 61B Trade Setup and will do write-ups on the other two. The Lightning Trade was working out great but then I found one instance in a crap stock I own (CBL) where it didn’t work so I put it on the back burner.

I have discovered that I am not a break-out trader. All of my setups are based upon retracements. I tried with the Lightning and Reverse Lightning Trade but when reviewing my setups they are all retracement types of setups. So the 3 trade setups I listed above are the ones I am using. There is one trade that has my Bread and Butter Trade Setup but I am not actively looking for those setups.

We’ll see where next month’s meditation takes me and see what new discoveries await!
